Spotify is up against other major streaming platforms like Apple Music, Tidal, Google Play, etc. In the early 2010’s, Spotify was launched, paving the way for the new music industry. With the creation of Napster, consumers were no longer buying and owning music, causing for the collapse of the music industry. In the music industry, we have experienced unprecedented change in the past two decades.
